Bekki Turner earned her Master of Science in Kinesiology with a specialization in Sports Psychology from California State University, Fullerton. She is currently working to complete a PhD in Higher Education at Walden University, with an emphasis in Administration and Leadership. She began her career teaching in the Exercise and Sports Science program at Vanguard University of Southern California and is now a creative research specialist and security coordinator for Hollywood Universal Studios, CA. In addition to 11 years of experience in education within the United States, Bekki has been an honorary “motivational” speaker for top-tier organizations in both areas of fitness and interdisciplinary college exam prep programs. Beyond 17 years of entrepreneurial personal fitness, orthopedic, and educational consultation experience, Bekki serves the education profession via committees in her professional associations including, but not limited to, the American Society of International Law (ASIL), International Political Science Association (IPSA), and the American Historical Association (AHA) seeking to engender positive change via social reform worldwide. Bekki’s hobbies include recreational fitness, traveling, and foremost, artistic endeavors in all domains of education and life.
